I... errr.... um..... run mine on Super Unleaded anyway. Its not like I use it that much to worry too much about the cost of petrol difference between unleaded and super unleaded.

You don't need SU in a Corvette.

Around here KA19 they charge 139p for a litre of Shell SU. My '87 runs fine off 118p BP and the occasional 112p supermarket petrol.

Quite. And mine is a 1968 old school thing. So I run it on super unleaded where I can. The difference down here is about 5 or so pence a litre, and I don't drive the C3 that much to really worry about the petrol price difference. Smile I also believe that normal unleaded has more ethanol content in it (or something or other), which is apparently bad for old fuel pipes and stuff. So for the minimal price difference, I just go super unleaded unless its an emergency etc.
