Tony - the 'nose' of the new plug has a far more extended reach.....

Think they are just a different make than the originals, have double checked and they seem correct.

Rockauto has some great prices! The plugs on my 89 are dead easy now I have long tube headers. Easiest plug change was my old air-cooled VW camper. Likewise oil and filter, it sat so high you could do it sitting down!

If needing parts, my first call would be to long time club "stalwart" (think that's the right word Scratchchin ) Keith at Eurovettes. Think many long(er) time club members do the same/would agree with that?

That's particularly so when you are looking for items that are not "stock" replacement items e.g. items in the Ecklers/Mid America etc catalogues/range.

RockAuto is no doubt good. Think they have a RA.co.uk website as well as RA.com. Just as a matter of interest, do they deliver (some?) items from a UK inventory/stock location?

No, they have various depots/vendors in the us. The best thing is paying for vat/duty up front, then it takes the same time as something from the UK and you know what it costs. Last year I ordered a brake master cylinder on Friday afternoon for mot and the garage in Cardiff had it fitted by Monday lunchtime!

Thanks for the info. If you order something from Keith that's coming from the US, he will tell you upfront what the £ cost is to your doorstep (that's my experience).

Keith advertises in the club "Vette News" magazine. The June edition has just landed on my mat. Its free to CCCUK members.

Installed new mirrors today. Left was a straight swop, but I had no right, so had to drill and fit, bit daunting really! But easy enough.
