Seen this one/Looks nice?

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2018051766006...

If supplied new in Belgium, the CoC will be in Dutch (or maybe French) and will say that it is certified for "Right hand rule of road". Will probably have the original right dipping (Euro mainland) lights on it. However, these get through the MoT.

Difficult to know how much that car is worth, as so few 2010 Euro spec ones on sale in UK. Obviously what someone is prepared to pay for it? Unusually(?) it doesn't have NAV or appear to have the HUD. So looks like "base spec" car, without the "Lux" pack (HUD, memory package, tilt/tele wheel/heated seats, Bose etc). Wouldn't put me off going to have a look. But max I would pay is £27k, when you point out to the dealer it's a base spec car and the headlights dip the wrong way? Laughing

Re: Buying a C6 Convertible.... Or more likely a Targa Top

That's a nice looking car, but as said, very basic spec. These basic spec cars are pretty common over here, some called "Competition" models for some reason.

Couldn't comment on the headlights, but the price would be abut right for here!

If I wanted one (well, actually I DO want one!) then it has to be higher spec than one of these I'm afraid, if for no other reason than not having a bank of "blank" switches down the left pf the instruments! Laughing Seriously, no HUD, no memory seats, power tilt/tele or GPS... not for me.

This one is actually very close to me but the basic spec does put me off and the price is too high, but if I wanted it I would go and negotiate 😂

Are there really no decent C6 LT3 Coupes with auto box and decent spec for sale out there?

Just an early C6 convertible LS2 yellow one for sale here in Belgium. But not the best automatic. Coupes are rare for sale here at the moment.

I fitted a HUD and new Sat Nav with Android Auto to my 2005 C6 for about £900. Pioneer sourced in the UK, HUD and other bits from the US. Easy job, even the HUD, which came with all the switches.

With the greatest respect, you are looking/asking in the wrong place. Statistically this website is practically dormant. Today only 62 registered users (that's CCCUK members) have visited the site, so I gauarntee that by posting here, you will continue to be frustrated.

Not necessariy in this order, I strongly recommend that you:

1) Post a "wanted" in the Corvette section of Pistonheads
2) Call Chris Graham, specify what you are after and ask him to source one for you
3) Do the same with Adrian Dromey

Because occasionally popping back here and repeatedly asking the same question in different threads, will NOT get you the answer you are looking for!

The options above will inevitably carry a small premium if one is available. But if they don't deliver the result, then I'll take a wild guess that you are either wasting your time looking, because there are none for sale, or you need to be a little more patient....

2 cents and all that stuff
