Hi, my wife and I would be interested in attending. We love northern Italy but usually fly and get a hire car. Iím looking for a C6 to join my C4 so this sounds like a great road trip for next summer. Where do I get information, in English if possible?

Just by the way, I've recently been elected as the 'International' rep for CCCUK and as such will try to provide liaison for events such as this. It's a new role for the club and we are still working out what's involved, but if members are aware of events overseas that they would like to attend and need some help getting in touch with the organisers or other logistical issues then please yank my chain!

Thumbs up Bigear

In Italy it seems impossible to rent Corvette; I'm sorry.

For those who may be interested in this event, I've had some clarification of the likely costs involved:-

The cost of attending the meeting is 200 per person; this cost includes: brunch at the Rifugio Col Gallina on Saturday, Saturday evening gala dinner at the Grand Hotel Savoia (including live music and illusionist show.) (The menus are written in detail in the program).

Sunday lunch at the Grand Hotel Misurina. For those wishing to take advantage of the cableway that leads from Passo Falzarego to Rifugio Lagazuoi at 2,800 meters, the cost will be borne by our club.

As for the hotel, as specified on the program, the cost is Ä 200 for a comfort room, 150 if single use. This rate is per room, per day, including buffet breakfast, I.V.A. and services.

I also added this link for those who want a different accommodation: http://www.infodolomiti.it/en/eating-and-sleeping/5631-l2.ht...

The only alternative dinner is Friday, which costs Ä 55 and will be held at the Grand Hotel Savoia.

Basically, apart from the hotel and Friday dinner the rest is all-inclusive.
