The big day finally cameóI just sold my beloved C5!

Safe to say, itís been a life changing experience owning my C5. I bought it back in the tail end of 2013, fully 5 years ago now, and have covered 30,000 miles in it all over Europe and Scotland. What a pleasure it was to be able to enjoy such a thing.

Regrettably it was just not wise to take it to London with me, and I couldnít bear to have it left in the garage never turning a wheel in Scotland, so I believe I have done the right thing. I left my superbike up north and can now start looking for another daily rider down here, off the back of the sale.

I am glad to say that Iíve been fortunate enough to avoid watching a punter drive her off down the road never to be seen again, and have in fact sold it to one of my closest friendsóthe bloke next to me in the picture. Iíll be able to drive it now and then and watch as he puts his stamp on it now... under my council!! Cool

Thank you all here for your various kindnesses. Iím sure líll stick around as ever, and maybe share some of his adventures in it too.

Hi Calum, itís not the end, youíll be back behind the wheel of a Corvette before long. Best car youíve ever had. Take it easy in two wheels.

Frank.
