Prescott American Classic Weekend

Calendar Event: 06 Oct 2018 - 07 Oct 2018

The Bugatti club are staging their American Special weekend on Sat/Sun 6th and 7th of October.

Featuring Antique wall of death, comic stilt walkers, show girls Very Happy and some awesome big V8's.

Despite the weather it was a good day out last year, so if there is enough interest I will arrange for us to have a Corvette area.

Post below if you want to go.

Tickets can be purchased from the Prescott website: https://www.prescott-hillclimb.com/events/autumn-classic-wee...

And there is a 2 for 1 offer at 20 - See Members Only

Anybody want to go to this?

If there's interest I will ask for a Club area on the infield

Get back to me or post below.

Remember it's their special American weekend and this year they are debuting the new Chrysler Hemi Charger with way too many horses that's reported to be the fastest production car over the 1/4 mile.

Until the C8 ZR1 Scratchchin Laughing

I've had no positive feedback on this one.

Which means we DON'T have a dedicated area - so if you go in the 'Vette there's a danger you might end up on the steep hill that passes for a car park. And if it's wet....

But anyone who is interested this is a reminder that it's this Saturday and Sunday

I am planning to go on Sunday but didn`t book the C3 in because some eegit backed a truck into the newly refurbed front end Censored It`s back at the body shop again for repair. No major damage but damned annoying and the shop is dragging its heals on the job having had the car 4 weeks Banghead
Will be going in the Grand Cherokee so at least it will make the climb to the public car park !

Sorry to hear about your car Mike - it always amazes me how other drivers seem to be drawn into running in to any classic car they can find Banghead

Glad to hear at least one Club Member will be in attendance, although with a bit of luck there will be a few others on the day.

Try and keep your hands off those show girls mind Laughing

Another one for you Bill,

Not me but if the weather is good, looks like a 2018 C7 Grand Sport Vert will be there from the South Midlands area (he does not post on here) - and at the moment the Sunday looks good for the Weather

In light of last minute interest if anyone wants to go, buy your tickets from the Prescott website using the ticket code in Members Only,

http://www.corvetteclub.org.uk/viewtopic.php?t=19462

and you will get car pass (presumably print at home?) which will get you onto the infield.

Perhaps you could pass on this info. Barry?
