2019 Nationals

The 2019 CCCUK's Nats will be held once more at the Sharnbrook Hotel Bedford on the last Friday, Saturday & Sunday of June 2019. Hotel bookings will open from first week of December 2018 - more details to follow...........

Just spoken to the Sharnbrook (as per the above) regarding the Nationals and they tell me that bookings cannot be taken until the 17th December.

That's correct.

I will be sending all Club Members an email about 10th Dec. with fully details of the booking arrangements.

These will hopefully give everyone an equal chance of reserving a room at the Sharnbrook.

Alternative venues in the area will be printed in the next Vette News for those unable to get a room on site.

We have had a number of members attempting to book rooms at the Sharnbrook for next years Nats - a reminder - bookings are not being taken until 17th December - anyone hoping to get priority by enquiring/reserving rooms before that date may be disappointed..........this is also creating issues for the hotel - so 17th December please!

With respect and we know yours is a voluntary position and are grateful, if you let the members know that it's the 17th, instead of finding out when they've rung the hotel in line with what the website and the magazine says (first week of December) it would have been better.

To be fair to Ross his original post was written on 31st July at which point exact details had not been finalised.

In a perfect world he would have edited his post to reflect that.
