Re: New Unexpected Owner of this C3!!

I personally would want to re frame that car, but good luck with the repair and finding parts without going way over budget! I think that Kink behind the passenger wheel is gonna be the least of your worries when it comes to alignment.
Bear in mind the whole front end is mounted from the front frame horns and works back, if the front mounting is off 1/2 its 1 by the time it gets to the door shut, that is why Vettes with less damage than that one can still have terrible door gaps. Last frame I sold with a V5 was for a 1000, I would try and find a frame personally, only my opinion!

Tony, next time you have a frame with V5 at 1000 call me!

The pics on this link, pic 6 is showing motor buried into fire wall and it looks like it has moved upwards and backwards a fair way. Pic 3 is quite funny almost cute. Car does seem to have had a lot of work carried out. Seats and steering wheel are all wrong.

Yes looks well compacted, engine looks to one side also rad close to wishbone, I would want to know about the integrity of the birdgage where it meets the chassis - a good candidate for a chassis replacement perhaps as Tony mentioned.

Internal damage visible to speedo is indicative of how much engine has moved back into dashboard Yes
