Midlands(ish) Christmas party - Open to all CCCUK Members

Calendar Event: 12 Dec 2015 7:30 am

Although there is still a long way to go, Gavin Sanger and I have arranged to hold a joint Christmas party event for the Central Regional Groups and any other Members who may be interested at Scalfold Hall Hotel (outside of Melton Mowbray) on Saturday 12th December. http://www.scalfordhall.co.uk/

These Christmas party nights have become a regular and popular feature in the Club’s event calendar over the last few years, where we typically join a pre-organised event, by booking dedicated tables for the Club. By our own individual choice, this has evolved into a Black Tie event for our Club Members (which started out with someone saying “no one bothers dressing up any more”) so this year’s event will be the same format, made all the better because the hotel has themed the evening as “James Bond c@s!n0 Royale”, so there is the added bonus of c@s!n0 tables for us to have a flutter, if that’s your thing.

Cost for this event is £35 per person for the meal/entertainment - superb VFM

So, if you fancy dusting off that Dinner Jacket and that Cocktail Dress, oiling up your PPK and polishing those X-Ray specs please join us for what should be a great (and different) festive night out.

At this stage, all we need from is a commitment that you will like to join this event. The venue has agreed to allow us to pre-book some places, but we need to give some greater commitment to headcount by mid-July, so please respond to this mail as soon as possible. As and when we get a clearer idea of numbers, we will ask for deposit to confirm your commitment.

For anyone wishing to stay overnight, there is a special rate, on a B&B basis, of £69 per single, £79 per double/twin. There are also executive rooms available. This event is definitely happening. If you want to commit now and would like to stay overnight, we strongly recommend that you book a room as soon as possible. As Corvette Club Reps’ we are only organising the meal and not getting involved with any accommodation issues - so for that, you are on your own.

This event is open to all CCCUK Members so if you have friends in the Club who you’d like to invite, then just let me know the numbers you want.

If you’ve any queries about this event, simply ask either Gavin or myself

Thanks

Guy Waltham

BTW: I have to commit provisional number to the venue quite soon. I've already got nearly 2 dozen who've shown an interest, so please either e-mail me or pm me if you'd like to join this event.

Cheers

Guy
