Rear wheel bearing

1972 C3
I miss the passing of Darts as a business, specially as I live near Hastings and cannot seem to find a reliable garage to replace my rear wheel bearing, I spoke to Scott at Corvette Kingdom and as ever he was super helpful, but the logistics of getting there plus the inherent costs make me yearn for something more local.
Iíve seen the add for Mikes Vettes in Southgate North London, but no main line number, no address and a company check stated not trading, makes nervous reading, apart from that a garage called AMA in Bishops Stortford which sounded better.but can anybody out there suggest a good garage.

Hi I have a 1972 C3 in war bonnet Yellow, gold to anybody else, I live in Three Oaks East Sussex just outside Hastings.
Try to do as much as possible myself with the help of an old school mechanic friend.
Love the C3 shape and sound poetry standing still let alone cruising.

I borrowed the following from Claremont's website "Claremontís long-term chief technician Matt Davison is taking over the Snodland workshop and trading as CCM Vettes Ltd from April."

Sime simple googling reveals that his email address is ccmvettes @ hotmail.com

Thatís interesting, Iíve been put off Claremont in the past by a member who bought a big block C3 there and didnít have a great experience...

Mike's Vettes have an advert on page 39 of the December issue of Vette News.

You could also try Autopics on page 34. They are in West Sussex.

Re: Rear wheel bearing

Thanks for the replies Rich and Scott,I should have put that although I like to do as much as possible to the car Iím not able to do this work due to a shoulder injury and my oppo has just come out of hospital and has the nerve to say that as he is in a leg plaster this makes it difficult to get under the car.... as I put previously I have seen Mikes Vette ad but with no knowledge of the business the superficial checks were thin. I have not had any experience of Mikes work which could be really good and I would like to hear of any members reviews...Mike could message me.
Thanks Scott I really need to get the wheel bearing done, when I called you we talked about coming up and making a mini break for a couple of days whilst you worked the Corvette Kingdom magic, itís sadly all about the money. I may still do this Iíll call you and check your availability if Iím going to do it.
